Dr. Nishita Patel is a Board Certified Fellowship trained Infectious Disease Physician. She completed her infectious Diseases fellowship at Tulane University, New Orleans. Where she had special training in Tropical and travel medicine to provide individualized care for persons traveling internationally, her special focus is to prevent infection in traveler by protecting them with vaccinations and providing appropriate care if they become sick after returning home. Her philosophy is to listen to the patients and to provide the best patient care consistent with the latest recommendations in the medical literature.

Dr. Pumerantz is a graduate of Occidental College and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Pumerantz completed his internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and fellowship in infectious diseases at the Yale School of Medicine. He is Principal Investigator of an interprofessional collaborative study evaluating the efficacy of PEGylated liposomal vancomycin targeting serious MRSA infections involving emerging glycopeptide resistance.

Before joining the faculty at Western University, Dr Mireles worked as the Pharmacist in charge for Sav-on and then CVS Drug Stores. He later became a District Supervisor for CVS. His areas of expertise include diabetes patient care, community outreach, immunizations, quality assurance issues and media relations.

Dr Hess has over 5 years experience in providing pre-travel health and vaccine administration services in community settings. He has a certificate in Travel Health, and is an American Pharmacist Association (APhA) certified immunization trainer and instructor.
